No wife...No baby...Plenty debt

Mrs. MA was in labour and excruciating pain. Her husband was confused. They had just been rejected by a hospital. In desperation, he took her to another hospital close-by. His wife was assessed, and it was determined that she needed an emergency CS. He needed to make a deposit, but how much could a daily-wage worker like him possibly have?

Leaving his wife in the hospital, he rushed to raise funds from family and friends. He was able to get a loan to cover about 1/3 of the required deposit. By this time, his wife was being prepared for surgery.

On cutting Mrs. MA open, it was discovered that the baby boy had died inside her and was already decomposing. Her life was in danger. The doctors tried but eventually lost her. Mr. MA was distressed - no wife, no baby, an outstanding loan, and unsettled bill.
